Introduction
William Rosenberg founded the first Dunkin' Donuts in Quincy, Massachusetts in 1948. It was formerly known as Open Kettle and served coffee, baked goods, and sandwiches. It is rumored that an Executive Architect came up with the name Dunkin' pastries, which was inspired by the concept of dunking pastries into coffee, two years later. The original Dunkin' Donuts location in Quincy is still intact and restored to its 1950s splendor.
Every second, roughly sixty mugs of coffee are sold at Dunkin' Donuts. That is equivalent to approximately 2 billion mugs of coffee sold globally in 2017.
One pound of Dunkin' Donuts coffee requires approximately 2,000 coffee beans. Dunkin' Donuts coffee specialists sample an average of 200 cups of coffee per day to ensure that they provide consumers with delectable coffee.
